The direct selling industry provides the best opportunity for individuals to attain financial independence. Often individuals may come across QNET when one talks about direct selling. The opportunity is well speculated and there are multiple perspectives. In fact, an individual may often be confused by the amount of information available about the company. This also means that there are a lot of QNET myths and misconceptions.
I have personally had a great experience as a direct seller. The opportunity has helped me take control of my life. It has given me the chance to interact with great entrepreneurs who have been instrumental in my journey. QNET has given me the chance to experience the best lifestyle with a world-class range of QNET products.
So, in this article, I will provide a few perspectives on some QNET myths. In addition, we will bust a few QNET myths!
Myth #1 – QNET is an investment scheme
We’ll get this question out of our way first. QNET is not an investment scheme. There are no conventions in QNET where an individual has to invest money and make returns. It is a well-known direct selling company that provides a life-changing opportunity for an individual to start a business.
So, monetary investments? No, there are no investments in the QNET direct selling opportunity.
Myth #2 – QNET is a Ponzi chit scheme
I have often come across people associating QNET with a chit scheme. The truth is far from it, let’s look at it in detail! PCMC act stands for Prize Chits and Money Circulation (Banning) Act. It was introduced in 1978 to curb the activities of certain groups who would circulate money to their participants.
Chit funds became famous in the 1970’s. A practice that still exists in a few places. A chit company organises a chit scheme by gathering a few members referred to as subscribers in a ‘Chit group’.
It is an investment-cum-borrowing scheme where every subscriber invests an amount every month for a fixed amount of time. And individuals borrow the total collected amount. Since it involves money circulation and bidding, it is unauthorised. This is the reason for the ban.
Now, QNET is completely different from such a scheme. A legitimate direct selling company often has a well-established product line or services that individuals can refer to their contacts. It is legal as per the Ministry of Consumer Affairs.
As far as the Ponzi scheme goes, an individual just needs to look at its business partnerships, associations and ambassadors. One would find that there are multiple sources backing the credibility.
Myth #3 – QNET distributors make money simply by recruiting people
QNET doesn’t provide any such methods where individuals earn simply recruiting people. Individuals need to become distributors or direct sellers. The direct sellers must sell products to customers in order to gain commissions.
A direct seller can have direct selling team who would sell products to their contacts. Individuals must qualify their businesses by selling products as well as having a certain amount of Business volume (BV) in their sales team to earn step commissions. But it is important to note that an individual can earn commissions only by actively selling products to his/her customers.
Myth #4 – QNET charges registration fees and asks for huge investments
Nothing is further from the truth. There are absolutely no registration fees for an individual to join QNET. In fact, there are no investments for an individual to start a direct selling business with QNET. All an individual has to do is fill in the registration form and buy their favourite products.
In terms of investments, QNET never asks any individual to make any form of investments. Individuals can buy products and services on their own accord and sell it to their customers. I personally started the journey without making any investments. I was introduced to the products and loved using them. All I did was recommend these products to my circle and I was able to earn commissions.
Myth #5 – QNET doesn’t provide refunds for product returns
I have often come across a few people complaining about not receiving refunds on product returns. However, it is important to note that QNET provides refunds on legitimate claims. As per my knowledge, it has a well-defined product-return policy. If a product is returned within 30 days in good condition, then the person is eligible to claim a refund. Although, post the 30-day return period they would not be able to claim refunds. So, individuals must be mindful of not crossing the threshold period.
Myth #6 – QNET distributors can earn lakhs in a month
QNET does not make any such promises. In fact, it has a clear set of rules and regulations provided by the Policies and procedures P&P that direct sellers must-read. How much an individual earns depends on the individual and how much time and effort they invest in the process.
Sometimes, it may take time an individual time to see results. Patience is an important virtue in such circumstances. A patient individual will eventually see the results. However, it is important to understand that there are no promises made to the distributors. The amount they make out of the commissions varies based on the product volume, time period and the BV of the entire team.
Myth #7 – QNET forces individuals to sign up people
No one is ever forced to do anything. It is important to understand that QNET is just like any other business. It requires a certain level of commitment and requirements for an individual to become successful. One of the important aspects is to build team networking. If an individual creates a network and initiates sales then they can earn commissions through step commissions. However, there is no compulsion. Individuals can simply buy and enjoy using their favourite products.
I have been a user myself. These products are amazing! They have unique features and benefits to improve the overall lifestyle.
Myth #8 – There is no help provided if an individual has queries
It is not uncommon for an individual to experience roadblocks while conducting business. They might also need help with products and services or may not be a clear business model. In such situations, QNET has a world-class customer support system that helps customers and distributors with their queries and ensures resolutions.
